Haven't been here in a while, but here are a couple of lock-down inspired videos.
First one is a new project, just for fun, which is me playing the clarinet. I took this up when working from home and locked-in evenings kicked in last summer. I thought learning a "proper" instrument might help with my guitar playing. Amazingly I've stuck with it, and this is from a few weeks ago, when I'd be playing about a year:

Second one is a song I wrote about my dad, who passed away earlier this year:

I'm glad you have good memories of your dad; unfortunately I can't say the same about mine. A legacy my parents left me was the determination never to raise a family of my own. And I've stuck to it. However, I have a dear wife, who has always had similar feelings about not having a family, and for similar reasons. We've been married for 45 years and counting. We have each other, and that's enough.
In our old age there are no children to look after us, but we're glad we took the road we did. The buck has stopped here. Unlike most of our friends, we have not propagated the pain and suffering that's inherent in birth, life and death.
