What are we liking as strap locks

I always have strap locks, ever since a mate’s girlfriend held my prized Les Paul copy by just the strap and one end came off.
Our local music store, happened to have the Schaller ones in stock, and I’ve been using them ever since. That was about 1984!
I use rubber washers or those Dunlop discs that twist round so that what was a keyhole shape closes down to just a small hole on acoustics because of the rattle from the Schallers being picked up by the piezo pickup.
Anyone got any good alternatives? Other imaginative DIY fixes?
